DC Swiss SA positions herself as an employer offering a motivating and equitable remuneration structure by providing salary conditions in line with market trends. Workplace atmosphere

An annual end-of-year dinner is organised for employees and a biennial picnic is organised for employees and their families. In addition to that, special theme dinners are regularly organised by the employees in the company’s canteen.

Time management

We ask for 42 hours of work per week (including catching up) with a daily presence required between 8:30am-11:30am and 1:30pm-3:30pm.

In any case, we believe that our employees should have a good work-life balance. Not only because it increases satisfaction and loyalty and improves productivity, but also because it has a positive impact on the reputation of our company. We therefore favour flexible working conditions wherever possible and encourage our employees to have other interests and motivations outside of their professional lives.

Career progression

DC Swiss SA favours the hiring of young graduates and then promotes from within. Promotions are decided on the basis of the employee’s competence, experience, performance and potential.

Holidays

The company offers 25 days’ holiday up to the age of 40, 27 days between the ages of 40 and 50 and 30 days from the age of 50. In addition, 5.5 catch-up days are granted annually.
Unless otherwise stated, the company closes for 3 weeks at the end of July/beginning of August and 1-2 weeks between Christmas/New Year.

Sustainability of the company

We are the market leader in Switzerland and occupy a privileged position on the world market. Currently, more than 70% of our turnover is generated through exports, particularly to the European Union. In order to remain competitive in this market, we are very reactive to each request and have tools available at all times. To do this, we multiply our efforts with a modern, dynamic and profitable production. Today we have two production sites in Switzerland (Malleray and Bévilard) and subsidiaries in Germany, Italy and the UK. We are confident about the future. Threading remains an essential and constantly evolving field and we are eager for progress and improvement.

Communication to employees

The management listens to each employee. Management communicates with its employees regularly through information sessions, salary communications or in a more playful and entertaining way, through an “internal newsletter”.

Works council

A Works Council consisting of five representatives appointed for three years is intended to represent the interests of the employees and to develop good understanding and cooperation between the employees and the management.
